Magazino

The Magazino Hall, well-known for its adaptability, proudly showcases its historical elements from a rich past. The Magazino Hall, located just beneath the well-known Valletta bastions, was constructed in 1727 as a portion of the original structure that held vats used to store oil for street lighting. The structure was integrated into the island’s first power station during the mid-1800s, when gas lighting were first used in the harbor area. Once inside, the native yellow limestone gleams in the mellow lighting and there’s an amazing arched ceiling. It’s practical to use the nearby outside courtyard as a breakout space. With its adaptable layout and natural rooftop skylights, the space can easily hold 500 standing visitors.
