Fort St Elmo

Built in a strategic location at the point of the Sceberras peninsula, the fort was originally designed to be a war machine to repel the Ottoman armada’s fury. This important location, which provides unhindered panoramic views of the harbors and the other cities and villages, was already recognized and used throughout the Middle Ages.
